Roll Cage

The gas tank had to come out to facilitate welding without explosion.


The driveshaft had to come out to remove the tank.

The exhaust had to come out to remove the driveshaft.


2.5" .120 wall mild steel DOM tubing was used,


Grind, check fit, grind, check fit, grind, check fit... ad nauseum




Apply Settings...


Tack and Weld...



Burn Finger...


Replace Gloves, Keep Welding...






Most welding was less than straightforward due to awkward positions required









Polishing the welds...


The aftermath of a wire-wheel failure, and a reminder that safety goggles have a function


CR made it over for the last few welds and put our in-house photo service to shame...
